Thanks for the tips and suggestions you are all spot on about the different shades! Well all was going okay until the a/b decided to spit on it(geuss it was'nt happy with them either) in the process of trying to fix the spatter I made a complete mess and decided to just cut my losses and start over.
I tried a different approach and layered the colors
Its a bit too busy now IMHO but I'm burned out with it and just going to roll with what I've got. Andy I doubt Stallone would want to sit in it now
"Everything happens for a reason" Trey ... give that airbrush an extra special little polish for messing up the first attempt, cos this second job is absolutely fantastic !!!
i used to watch that program on tv where they customised peoples car`pimp my ride`and i think you are on par with the artists on there, looks fantastico lol
Huge thank you to all for all the support and very kind words, really humbling to get such high marks from all of you! In all fairness for those that did'nt know I've been custom painting full scale for 20+ years so do'nt go thinking I'm all that ! I hate to say it but I could'nt leave it alone ! It was okay, but a bit garish for the 2tone metallic pearl lime green thats going on top . 3rd times the charm(I hope) so on went some Kosmic Brandywine candy by House of color thinned way down for the a/b of course! Michael wish I would've video taped it as well, then again after all the goofs maybe not lol. The real trick is multiple layers and knowing when to stop!
