          Sorry Colin it's got to be done.

          First undercoat on just sanded it down & sprayed it again then iff i'm happy on with the first top coat.

                  Be a lots easier to build a pick up- I mean if you are going to rape an E-type why not do it propper like.!

                    The E type, indeed a great looking car. I remember hearing somewhere that all E type bonnets are made just a bit too long, then adjusted to fit the individual car - I wonder if the kit bonnet fits better !

                              Ok top coats all on just got to rub down with 3M then the big dilemma do i lacquer over it !!!!!.

                                First round of buffing done 3M seems to work well will buff the bonnet tomorrow to give the paint more time to set.
