Well I've finished the figures (well as good as my eyes go anyway) also I've adjusted the skirt a bit ( I must admit I did feel a little uncomfortable rumageing around in her knickers area).
Well this shows you how far along we are I have started crushing christine into the loading bay I am so nervous, this is make or break. I have the bumper and grill bent into it, it's now the car. No pics I really should have Christines lights working but to late now I think especially when. The wings are crushed in (not enough room all my leds are 5mm) and I can't damage the paintwork as I mixed the colour and spilt the pot I had it in, so if I ruin the paint I have to spray the whole car again.
hi all may take a little longer to finish as I have decided to put headlights in her after all (means a lot of cutting behind the lights to fit the wires and whatnot) should have done it while I was building her, should have thought ahead.
Hi frame 69 just watched the film again and rewound several times just to make sure it is definitely not a mk2 Cortina (although it dose resemble one very closely) I had a mk2, 3 mk3s and 5mk 4/5s they were great cars don't know enough about American cars to say what it was (maybe an American version).
Could be. I'll look at some point. Great work by the way.
P.S I've moulded panels for stock cars from the foil that makes take away containers, you can get it pretty straight and it crumples like the real thing.
unfortunately one of the super troupers failed and to fix it I would have to take it all apart, so, since its glued in place it will have to stay off (insert swear word here).
