Hi all, I'm new to the forum....I've started to build the 916 this week. It's my first kit build in probably 15 - 20 years. I've come back to scale kits as heart issues have curtailed my RC flying activities.

Your build is excellent Fenlander, hope mine turns out as well.

Well, the silly season is officially over at the Fenlander swamp and I finally dug through the detritus of Christmas to uncover my bench and had a few minutes on the Ducati. Finally, it has the front forks and wheel in place so I can start the finishing procedure.

Ask me how much fun I am having with putting the decals on................ NONE, it's a nightmare mix of curves....... The 'Marlboro' third party decals (Crazy Modeler), very apt name as they are not going on easily, I bought ages ago. In fact I have had this kit on the shelf for years. Glad I waited as I did not have the skill set or the patience to get this done when I bought it

But I shal persevere, I think the trickiest ones are on now so the day should be plain sailing. Mmmmmm, famous last words?

The decals are the worst on these bikes!! The older decals are even worse as they are thicker and don't soften easily!

At the looks of matters you have licked them good!!

                              Very nicely done!
