    Tamiya 1/12th Ducati 916

Evening.....didn't want to hijack Fenlanders topic, so I'll post here instead.

Monica, thank you for that, I just used Tamiya paints as per the instructions. As I'm starting again, I thought I would follow the instructions for once....lol.

done a bit more airbrushing today, Exhaust - thought I;d have a go at blueing and carbon fibre.

It's metallic grey Base then semi gloss black over the top. I will be adding clear gloss later.

                    Did a bit more tonight.........
thought I'd assemble a few parts without glue etc to see what she looks like.........
I need to redo the disk brakes and maybe the blue exhausts.....I think I may have gone overboard !

looking great Neil, real liking how its taking shape,
I did get some Vallejo, chrome and aluminum ,today so can make a start
                      on my one,
                      have a lite gold,
must ask,did you use, chrome for the disc,s ? or would they be aluminum,I would think so,
I do like the ,exhausts.the colors are right, maybe try and blend them down a bit,and this bit ,I,m
interest to know how you do it as well,
some time back Ian did this type of thing as well,on a jet engine, wish I could find it to see how he did it,o_O
