    Tamiya 1/12 Ducati 900cc

well a bit complacent with my other builds at the moment why I don,t know,

So for a change of place, desired to give this a go,
have it primed and started the top coat on parts, need to wait a day or so before I can mask it up
    for the green,
but able to start on the engine, and other bits and bob,s,
but will need to get so decals,as the ones what are there are beyond repair,

well hope you like the start,on this,

this morning update start work on the engine,
the join in the tank will be no,real problem, sanding back,a very good join,
think I need to engine in the frame,to work out the pluming,as it show,s holes, but not
            real were they end up,ops:
did not real take, note with the wheels,as I,think both rim,are the same size but different size tires,
thinking the big one,is rear and smaller is the front before I start with the, hardware on them need to sort that one,

well hope you like my progress so far,o_O

Looking good Monica......... and tyres ??? Big one at the back, and sometimes there is an arrow on the side to indicate the rotation direction...... Put a bike tyre on the wrong way round and it'll wobble all over he road. Plumbing ??? The Tamiya stuff is black and nasty. Brake lines especially need to be "Braided". You can get pretty silver braided hose on evilbay for 1/12 scale...... Like on my Katana.

Jus a tip here........ If you do use the braided hoses. The ends fray our wicked. So, to make the "finals" (hose connectors to mere mortals) I cut a small piece off the tube of a cotton bud. slip that on to the hose before you fit it to the little spigot on the brake caliper. then push the little piece down over the end of the hose........ Then you can paint that bit silver.

Have a look at my Ducati NCR racer and Ducati 900SS they are versions of the same kit.

The NCR has more detail added to it.
