I've got the an idea, you build the dozer and send me the buick to build, then I can save it from being crushed

You could always use an old early Datsun model, mind you Datsuns normally disolved before getting anywhere near a crusher!

*Edit* or you could use a Holden and upset Monica.......not wholly recommended or endorsed!

Thanks Monica, yeah it's 24 gauge phone wire. Tried to figure out how to glue wires where I wanted them to imitate hydraulic, fuel and water lines then it dawned on me to just drill out where I wanted the lines to go and it's worked great I think. Have different gauge wires for other hoses and lines, trying to include all I can {why noto_O} I like this particular project, it has much more detail than most tanks plus different color schemes and bigger scale.

I am a slow poke compared to you Monica so this whole deal should be quite drawn out, good for a winter project {snowed a good bit already so it should be a good one this year}............Jim

Well, got some work done on dozer. Nice working in a bigger scale for once. Still very busy round-a-bouts but as it gets colder and we settle into winter then I'll shift into a higher gear.

Very preliminary of course, seems every part needs extensive cleaning up but it's easier with larger parts to work with. A very old model it seems {mid to late 70s} and it may have suffered from some overheating in the attic thus a bit of warping though very slight luckily.ops: Engine not glued in yet just set it in to give an idea. Of course countless layers of color to go, I want it to look well used but not a salvage yard case...........Jim
