W900 WRECKER (revell)

Ok made a start on this one.

Not happy with this kit by revell, bad fit issues chrome peeling of parts & to thick, but i will crack on.
Went for a Jade Matt Green.
The bonnet has been buffed but not the cab okies.

Chassis built & rear bed & crane ready for spray, engine on its way.

The chrome came of the ram arms when i removed the tamiya tape so i will have to paint them silver.

Ok this is a test peace to see if there is any reaction when i spray car lacquer on top of Tamiya spray paint.

Well no reaction to the lacquer & a quick buff up with 3M all looks well me thinks.

I know it's not required to put the lacquer on over the gun metal paint but it helps protect it as i oftern take my builds to show's.

Looks really good. I am tempted to build my first truck but I am unable to decide what kit. :-)

If i were you Daniel i would go for the Italeri kit's as they are a much better fit & have a lot more detail in them.
