    Hi Moni.

By the moment is only the primer coat. I have to say, the German grey primer is my best option, when I need a "strong" surface where to work hard (chipping/streaking grimes/etc..). I don't usually use varnish.

I will wait tomorrow for a dry coat, then I will try a "new" kind of pre-shade that I see on a French modeller. His result was superb, will try to imitate it :P

        Hi all!!

Here is this “different” pre-shade I am trying on this model. O_o

After the German grey primer, I add these four different colours on the body.

I use Vallejo white, light sea blue, gold yellow and pale green. I will wait tomorrow to add the rusty colour....

        Thanks

        Polux

I think this kind of pre-shade is only valid for a rusty colour, but not really sure.... ops:

                Hi friends.

Once all these different colours are dry, I paint an extra fine coat of rust colour (Vallejo).

Slowly...but step by step is coming to alive

The next step is paint another coat of hull red with the hair spray method.

Now, our friend Mater has a nice and rich chromatic colour variety, much better than the OOB sand colour plastic

                  Thanks for looking

It works well under Alclad for bare metal finishes as well
