Very nice decals Polux and very appropriate for the era of the van.

Also thanks for a very interesting build as it is so unusual and so interesting especially after owning the saloon type in the real.

            Hi friends.

After some days thinking what to do with this model, if add or not another colour .....I decided to leave, at the moment, this weathered green.

So I decided to stick the decals, after a clear/gloss varnish coat.

            Thanks for looking

I have this oil colour, and looks really similar as the decals ones (colour and shinny).....maybe I will try to paint a line or similar on the van for a major visiual effect O_o

Very nice Polux those decals have laid down nicely what decal paper did you use and what sealer as they look thin decals from the picture.

                    Still really enjoying the progress!

                    Cheers,Ben

                            Ouch Ben....

Sorry mate, I can not say what kind of paper is! There isn't any brand or name write on the sheet I bought it on a model shop.

Anyway I can explain all the steps I have do

I design my own letters with the computer, using the wordart on the power point program.

I impress on my printer over a photography sheet of paper.

Do a photocopy in a papers store (laser one) with my own decal sheet.

Wait two days for a dry product! (anyway, I think this is not necesary :P )

I paint an abundant coat of gloss varnish (Mr Hobby, for me the best one) and add the decals before the varnish is dry, once I have applied the decals I paint quickly another coat of varnish.

                            This is the result!

Once all the van has been painted I will add a final satin varnish coat.

Well....hope this help you a little

                            Regards

                            Polux
