    Fujimi 1/12 Nissan Skyline.

I've done quite a few 1/12 scale kits in recent years mostly from Tamiya of course, and I like working in the bigger scales, so I thought I'd give this one a try as its from a different manufacturer.
in the past I've found Fujimi kits in 1/24th are very well detailed albeit a bit fiddly with some ambiguous part location at times (perhaps thats just because of my inherent clumsiness...) so I wasn't sure what to expect, but actually although this is a bigger scale there isn't quite so much detail and, surprisingly, its partly held together with a variety of screws and other fixings.
This would actually make it an ideal starting point for someone getting into 1/12 scale car building as it goes together pretty easily.
It has some nice touches such as the working bonnet prop and metal door hinges with spring loaded latches, but is short on detail in other areas (I added my own seat belts for example as it doesn't come with any)
One of the photos is a comparison of it next to a later model Calsonic Skyline by Tamiya in 1/24 so you can see its size.
But it was not too expensive (Thank you Kent Models) and a straightforward build.
