Hello All.
I've just finished the above model .
It was the usual Italeri mix of some parts very well made , but poorly fitting together.
Most of my problems were regarding the body panels, especially the rear engine cover/boot/whatever. When I fitted it on the hinges with the screws provided it would not close completely but left a gap of about 4mm between it and the middle body section. After much investigation I could only attribute it to the panel inside the cover hitting on the engine frame at the top edge, but there was no way of altering it, so I made up some hinge extensions using paperclips which improved things, but its not perfect. (the photo is with everything open to disguise the poor fit)
The front bonnet was much better and I really like the PE bonnet pins, they are well made and look great.
So its a mixed bag, but still worth doing.
now I need to go and do a Tamiya kit to regain my sanity.
