    Pocher 1/8 FIAT 1907 restoration

This was a total wreck I bought from Ebay for £25.....

Now sorted with a real wood floor, loads of extra pipework and wiring... etc etc etc...

    Roy.

Beautiful job and so much the more rewarding for restoring it like that.

A very nice result, and an interesting vehicle.

I wonder why Fiat used a chain drive? The car would have had to have a differential to drive the two shafts, so why not just connect them to the wheels directly? There is not much of a ratio gain from different sizes of the sprockets.

Also, what is the date of the original?

WOW, that is a thing of beauty!!

                  Very nice!!

Italeri do a version in 1:12, I'd be tempted.....just like with the Ducati, get rid of the molded chain and build a PE chain.....STOP!!

Can't go there yet, I've got other stuff on my plate! :P

                  Great restoration, bub!!
