    Well the little mini finished I'm going to make a small dio for this up to its knees In mud weeds etc

    I think you have achieved a nice effect here, the rust is nice and streaks look good. looks like there is some subtle texture to it too. a couple of dark brown holes in the wings and door bottoms would look nice

        Nice model Ray. used to have a blue one like this. Bit scratched but not as rusty.


        Tried a couple of times to achieve deterioration like this but not found it very easy.


        Some nice techniques.

              Very nicely done Ray. The rust and grime is not over done, it look abused and ready to hit the mud again. As Doug said, some rust eating into the areas around the door bottoms would be authentic, I remember many older British cars in particular having rusty holes in them.
