    MG TC and Rolls Royce

"I believe I'll drive myself this morning, Jeeves!"

Take two, they're small (1/32 scale). I built the MG about 4 years ago and the Rolls about 30 years before that. The Lifelike/Pyro Rolls is box stock but the Matchbox MG TC has some added bits. When I read that the float bowls on the carburetors tended to overflow and the lost petrol had to be routed through pipes to keep it from dripping all over the hot exhaust manifold, I had to add them. The wood floor boards are worn and need refreshing. I added map pockets (and map) and the tail light is a real ruby! I thought the windscreen was clunky so I ditched it and added a racing number instead.

Very nice, love the close up of the back of the Rolls, reminded me of a certain scene in Titanic........

I keep scanning the car kits for something in 1/24 to go with my trucks but not found anything that takes my fancy yet.  It may end up being a 2CV lol
