    Tamiya 1/24 Volkswagen Beetle

    For once for me a car kit that I enjoyed working on a straight out of the box build.
    I did try a technique to simulate carpets although probably not visible. Click image for larger version

      I put a YouTube link on my work in progress thread.
      I used pva glue and embossing powder.

          i can reccommend sourcing some doll house carpet.......its short pile and self adhesive

            Very nicely done Peter. It's nice to see a model of an "ordinary" car rather than the usual rally/racing car.
