Shelby Cobra 427 S/C (Fujimi)

I finished Shelby Cobra (semi) recently (1/24 by Fujimi). This is my first time trying to customize a model (beyond painting and stickers). I 3D printed slightly bigger + wider tyres as I didn't like the ones in the set at all (they were clearly more narrow than what's on the cover, see this if you're curious), wider arcs and dropped the stance as I wanted a bit more "modern" look. I also made custom seat trimming plus installed seatbelts. I wasn't sure if I wanted open or closed trunk, so I printed and installed hinges too :smiling3:








The paint job and finish could be better, but this is just my 3rd car model. I might have exaggerated the tyres/stance, but I like it :smiling3:

That is how a Cobra should sit... Excellent workmanship and finish.
Carol Shelby used to take prospective customers out for a ride in a 427 Cobra, and taped a $100 bill to the inside of the passenger windscreen. When he accelerated away if the customer could reach up and remove the bill, then he would sell them the car...
If the lottery ever comes my way, then you can guess the car I will be buying.
