    1/24 Chevy Nomad restomod

Back from my little holiday I've managed to get some pictures of this.

A bit of a fun fill-in rather than serious modelling, it's based on a die cast toy that's received a few modifications and a paint job

That's brilliant. I've never seen a die-cast model get such effective treatment. Well done.

Great, and I really mean great, finish. Almost glass like shine on that babyโ€ฆ.

Brilliant Andy, do you see what I did there?
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

Envy is a grim word but..... That finish is beyond shiny. Like that Orange colour. Peugeot colour?

Many thanks guys. It's almost like cheating using products and tools from my day job but I suppose there's no harm in using everything in your armoury.

Damn Andy, that is one fine low rider, toy kit or not!!! I think a man should use everything in his arsenal to enjoy this hobby. You're luckier than most with you having them to use. I love the metal flake in the colors the most. Very hard to photograph too...

Now, you can put the song "Low Rider" from War on the stereo and vroom, vroom this beauty around on the desktop, Killa!!!.........

                    Prost

That is a beautiful and tasteful modded car. The colour combinations and silver/chrome rims certainly look the part.

Wow, all I see is shine, glimmer, and sparkles, woof! You car guys amaze me. I'd need to rewire my brain to pull off something like this, so I recon I'll just enjoy the likes of this. Awesome work, Andy!

Thanks Paul, very kind of you to say.

Cheers Steve. I wouldn't really class myself as a car guy as it's only the second one I've finished. Model ones that is lol, I've painted thousands in full size :tears-of-joy:
