The decals on "Old Yeller" might suggest a Texas or Arizona truck but the ranches where I live on the central California coast are thickly forested with steep foggy meadows. I've been lost in the forest and finally broke out into a meadow, hoping to find a landmark, only to discover the meadow cloaked in a pea souper!
This a long-winded way of explaining the weathering on this old truck. It's scratched up by the thick brush on the narrow forest tracks, rusted quite a bit here and there, and been "brought back" through several liberally applied cans of yellow spray paint. And there's a little mud.
