Thanks Paul, I was lucky to spot it on ebay and got it for £20!! I was very surprised about that! Even the decals work especially after I gave them two coats of gloss clear first! The kit is dated at 1987 and still in the sealed plastic bags!
It has an anodising gold paint in a tiny plastic tub, but as that had gone solid so I used orange clear (indicator colour) on the chrome work as suggested on the box art and in the instructions.

I think it's safe to say Patrick at £20 that was a bargain.

Oh and if you run out of ice cream you could also do a bit of fly tipping for the local undertaker, lol.

                Steve.

Yes Steve that was a bargain, due to the fact that a lot of Brits don't understand Rods.
OH Steve on the other subject..... as long as they are already frozen!

                            Patrick

A terrific build of such a colourful vehicle. I am not familiar with this style of vehicle so is there actually one out there that this kit is based on??

I think so Steve. There were a number of show rod, hot rod builders in the 60's & 70's in the USA that would build all sorts of stuff. Ed Roth, George Barris and Darryl Starbird just three of dozens of hot rod and custom car designers and builders to the rich & famous, a lot of which were duplicated by model kit companies, including Revell, Trumpeter, Hawk, Lindberg, AMT, and MPC/ERTL.
Plus Tom Daniels was one of many that would supply designs for model kit companies at the same time.
