As is the norm with me I sit and stare at a model and think it could do with something extra or, I find something, normally when looking for something else, that I think...oooooh, that would look good on so-and-so.
Well, it happened again.
The rusty truck cab and rust pile has add a couple of bits added. I added some copper wire but wanted it to look like it had been there a good while so, went to find the verdigris paint, could I find it...nope so, I made up some-light olive, white and blue and managed to come up with a colour that isn't far off.
I also mixed up some epoxy and added some black and made some oil dribble from the barrel-down the side and mudguard.
Next was the turn of the trailer.
I made a scratchbuilt work light from plasticard and bits from the bits bin. Added two metal stanchions to the front, these are white metal model boat railing posts, a parking brake lever above the rear wheels, a small generator on one side underneath and a jack from a PIII on the other underside, I then added some timber and more logs, also painted up the rear chain.
