Mike Hailwood's TT winning Suzuki RG500

This is now finished - been tough as it was a very old, poor kit which I chose to change from a 1977 Barry Sheene bike to a 1979 Mike Hailwood bike from the Isle of Man TT - his 14th and final win there .

The build is here in construction .

Rotten Box - Rotten Kit ! Matchbox 1/12th Suzuki RG500

Overall fairly happy , but not up to Tamiya standard and my skills and eyes could do with improvement !

Given what you're working with, you've got to be pleased with the outcome. Looks great to me.

        Cheers,
        Nick

          Hi Steve
That result is so much better than the kit promised. You should be pleased it has come out so well.

            That's a very nice model Steve :thumb2:
You can get even better photo's when you try to get the light shining in front of the Suzuki instead of behind ; ).
You did a nice job on this old kit.

I didn't want that much detail in the photos , as you would see all the mistakes !!
