    Tamiya Yamaha YZF-R1

    Morning guys,

Just finished this one up at the weekend.

Overall a very enjoyable build, although I did run into issues at the end with the front cowling not fitting properly. I ended up stripping and repainting it, even then although better it still doesn't fit properly. Not sure if it's me or the kit??

I understand you being fussy about that fit but honestly it doesn't take anything away from what's another great looking bike :thumb2:

Looks fantastic to me. I bet the fit is better than a full sized one!

Mark, yep I'm probably being over-critical, things like that just bug me.

I think it looks great , the bike is just representing heavy front braking !!

                      Hi Bob
Looks great. Detail is excellent. I would never have seen a problem with the front cowling.

I reckon it's one of those situations where you see it 'cause you made it but others just see a great model.

                        Cheers Jim.

You are no doubt correct, to me it sticks out like a sore thumb because I know it's there.
