    Suzuki GS1100 Katana Finished.....

My offering for the Summer Group Build ............ Suzuki GS1100 Katana Finished.....

I have really enjoyed this one. There were one or two sticky moments. Getting the braided lines on and fixing the fuel tank on just a few millimetres too far back so the seat would fit on the frame, that took a lot of getting off without damaging it or the paint.

The build thread is here.......... http://www.scale-models.co.uk/july-sept-2013-gb-motorcycles/19205-tamiya-katana-1100-a.html

I'm 10 again... "An all terrain attack motorcycle capable of three hundred miles an hour and immense firepower Street Hawk"

Seriously though, nice job Peter. Love the colour, the braided hoses and the fact you took the kit and did something original with it. 5*s from me.

I thank you all for your kind words .......... As I said, it was a real pleasure to build this one, and I think that helped with the result........... I'm really happy with the result......... even if the comment from my missus was "It doesn't look anything like the picture on the box" ............ So my retort to my nearest and dearest ........... "It's not a f*****g Jigsaw puzzle is it!"............. Women ????

                              Hi Peter,

The first time I ever saw a Katana was in a Superbike book I got when I was young and always wanted one, sadly never got round to it...

I really love the Street Fighter look you have done, it really suits it, more so than the standard version, HUGE ***** from me Sir...

                              Andy...
