    Jim R's Airfix 1904 Darracq - "GENEVIEVE". Jakko's Movie/TV GB

A wonderful film but a terrible, ancient kit. It took a lot of work to make it into an acceptable model. Thanks to Jakko for organizing this GB.

That's turned out beautifully Jim despite its age.

    Very well done indeed.

I really can't add anything to what's already been said Jim. You have done a super job with the scratchy and the painting is also first rate!!! If anything, you need to add a fig of you behind the wheel and maybe the grandkids as passengers, out for a Sunday drive in the country...

                  Prost

Thanks guys for your very kind posts. One thing for sure - my next kit will be much newer.
I think I paid about £14 for the kit but if you can find one they often go for two or three times that. It seems that even total rubbish goes for big money if it's rare.

Overlooked this thread until now, but like I said in the other one, you’ve done a great job improving that ancient kit

                          Nice work Jim. :thumb2:

I will use your build thread as a guide for mine which I bought three years ago for £8 including P&P but as you say, they go for silly money if you are unlucky.
