          Just to complete this I have included the figure. I very carefully shaved off his 'tash and mounted the truck and Pop Larkin on a wood base (a bit of old shelf!)

          So figure painters look away. I find figures very hard indeed.

              Great stuff Jim the colour job gives it a totally different perspective were all so used to just looking and thinking green millitary vehicle its a proper truck. Dave

                                Thanks guys for your kind and very much appreciated comments. I do like to use a figure of two to give a sense of scale and place. Dios from people like John R and Richard F use figures, and monkeys, to great effect.
