Lancia stratos Hasegawa 1/24 for MrB's racer GB

Well I had forgotten to post some pictures of this little cutie.
I think this has to be the first car I have build since I was a kid and that was a looong time ago.
    Anyhow long story short:
paints a mix of Mig, Vallejo, Humbrol..... used that 2k clearcoat that Mig brought out... Meh. lol.

The decals where a total pain. Even the instructions said clear coat them at your own risk! So I chickened out, So they are on top of the 2k clear with nothing over them.

As you can see various places the decals are a bit crumpled and cracked. Upting the markings on this was spread over three days, Top, left and right!

I know it's a rally car but I just could not bring myself to muddy it up. Although not generally a fan of Italian cars, If I had the chance a Lancia in the Air Italia colours could swing it. lol.
Hope you like it comments and all that are welcome.

        +1

This goes to show that it pays to select models of great subjects - if the subject matter is in itself outstanding then that just adds value to an outstanding build like this. Great job.

You have managed to produce an incredible model there Ian, well done.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.
