Its amazing the difference 2 scales up makes

Hi all it wasn't till i finished the 1/8 Kwak and put it next to the 1/6 Honda I realised how much of a difference there is in size.

I've put a 1/12 there as well just to so the progression, it would be great if they made a 1/12 a 1/10 a 1/8 and a 1/6 of the same model the effect would be amazing when put together. I for one would buy all four kits.

Yes was surprised Ken when I started model making with scales. I had noticed the difference when producing architectural drawings but that was in two dimensions.

We tend to think linear wise I think when we see 1/32 1/48 1/72. But it is the volume which is spectacular as the scale is in 3 dimensions ie 1/32 1/72 comparison is very approx half the dimension for 1/72 in height width and length.

When I spied the larger model I thought it was 1:1 full size. Very authentic.

Or 3 of the right just about right. Although Peroni would be much better.

          Try a 1/72 Spitfire next to a 1/24 Spitfire

Seriously, I do understand your point. I've been surprised myself on occasion.

          Cheers
