    Help finding a kit.

    Hello

I think this is the right section?

I've got a daft idea about wanting to make a nice little semi diorama, with a bit of grass and a tree and a bit of dry stone walling. Basically I'm wanting to build up a mini slice of the Yorkshire Dales, which I love spending time in.

Problem is, that lovely mainstay of the Dales, the ubiquous Series Land Rover, is a little hard to find without having guns and soldiers and such glued to it.

    So, does anyone know of a series 1,2 or 2A (Preferably a 90, ideally a 90 pickup) in 1/24?

No-one seems to do a civvy version, which I find odd given how popular and iconic a car they are.

    Thanks for reading

Series II here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Burago-1-24-Diecast-Land-Rover-Series-II/161943632426?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkpa rms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=2014012212535 6&meid=434deb780c204dc1af306bbbbfa7354f&pid=100005 &rk=3&rkt=6&sd=111867110416 This might be an easier option.

Italeri do one, number 3697 IIRC, but they are hard to get hold of.

It was the Italieri one that I had seen in 1/35th, it was a military 110 pickup but I believe the soft-top bit was optional and it came with less 'army' bits as it were.

I do wonder if I could perhaps cut it down to represent a 90 pickup, and scratch build a nicer better canvas back.

Sadly it be the only way I can do this build. I'll have a look into it when I get closer to thinking about it.

        Thanks for the help
