An endless loop of possibilities. I could endup building a village. . I use a Stanley knife to cut the cardboard but I did cut away from me. But Chris I will be carefull.

      Hi Sue
A hint, if I may. When cutting cardboard blades can blunt relatively quickly. If they do, change them out. A dull blade means you use more force, potentially losing control of the blade and cutting yourself or, more importantly, damaging the model

YEA Tim is right there Sue cardboard soon dulls the blade so as Tim says change blades regually as we dont want you cuttin yourself an a medieval castle....oh i'll look forward to that one as i built a fairly big one myself for a freinds son as he loved to play at knights of old an fightin around the castle an with all the figures it looked great

I'm joining the audience and follow your job, Sue.
I've always been enthralled by brickworks, whatever the scale.

Hi Tim. Many thanks for your kind advice. I think I will put a new blade in the stanley knife to be safe. But yes Tim I was applying quite a bit of pressure when I was using the Stanley knife to cut the windows.... :-) Sue.

                Hi Sue
Several light cuts are usually better than one heavy cut by the way....you also get more control that way.

That's true Tim i never thought of looking at it that way I was doing one long cut hence my uneven lines on the windows.

Hi Chris it's a medieval tower not a castle. Sorry Chris.
Its by the same makers aedesars.com as the manger I'm building at the moment. Size it's mm- 220/250/285..... Sue.

                        Hi Sue
I also find windows easier to cut out by starting the cuts in the corner and cutting outwards, rather than cutting towards the corner. The corners come out cleaner and there is less chance of cutting into the bit you want to keep.....but youโ€™ve probably already worked that out yourself.

I'm just going to sit back here in the corner and observe..........if there's any blood I'll have time to duck for cover. Matron entrusted me with the first aid kit in case there should be a mishap, so I got your back Sue.....please carry on. Rick H.
