Thanks Tim. I'll go with what I've got to save on the pennies but will bear it in mind for the future.

      Morning Andrew.
Nice photos showing the corner detail. Considering they could have just done a 45 with out the lock and had all the resultant miss alignment as you attempted to put it together it's very neat .
Reminds me of some foam board corner locks that top end builders like David Neat would produce .

I have a sort of roller device that is used in card making that produces very convincing corrugated iron effects (sorry, not at home so can't post a picture). Very cheap and durable!

          Thanks John.

It's definitely one of the better features of the kit. It's a bit of an enigma to be honest. In some cases it's pretty good, such as the brick details and the stone window surrounds and yet some pretty poor thing - the door frames are 'hinged' to open outwards (and they are on the right way....), the build means you get those horrible join lines and the truly awful roof.

If I had paid the full RRP I would be a bit miffed but as it only cost me £2 I think I can live with it!

As promised 'wriggly tin' device with two bits of Coke tin as examples! Can't remember the manufacturer but I'm fairly sure it came from Hobbycraft, the card-making department!

Wow Tim.......just checked it out. They're pretty reasonable at about $15.00 ea. but the shipping and handling puts it over $25.00.....it's back to my scribe and ruler until I can find a more reasonable option. Thanks for looking out for me Sir!:thumb2:

Hi Andrew, good looking interior job on an otherwise plain Jane kit.....takes it to the top floor! I have done interior detailing in the past on HO scale buildings but never thought about complete interior walls........I will defo be trying this out on my next building project. Rick H.
