Anyhow, I am still making stuff although it is very slow now.
I made a scenery piece for our RC tank village for our clubs home and away event-fingers crossed we will be back to them next year.
It is made from some model railway bridge supports, the overflow is a brass air pump nozzle, the shut off valve is a model car wheel fitted to the remains of a WPL RC truck cab exhaust, the grid is made brazing rod. The water effect is tin foil, slightly crumpled with washes over it then a layer of epoxy with some more washes and debris added before it cured. The overflow is a piece of fibre optic rod with epoxy added and again some washes added. I painted it and stippled the brickwork in different colours to make the bricks pop a little. All weathered, grassed and then coated in a matt varnish.
