    1/16 WATER PUMP OVERFLOW WELL.

Hi chaps, again I can only apologise for not being on as much I should.

Anyhow, I am still making stuff although it is very slow now.

I made a scenery piece for our RC tank village for our clubs home and away event-fingers crossed we will be back to them next year.

It is made from some model railway bridge supports, the overflow is a brass air pump nozzle, the shut off valve is a model car wheel fitted to the remains of a WPL RC truck cab exhaust, the grid is made brazing rod. The water effect is tin foil, slightly crumpled with washes over it then a layer of epoxy with some more washes and debris added before it cured. The overflow is a piece of fibre optic rod with epoxy added and again some washes added. I painted it and stippled the brickwork in different colours to make the bricks pop a little. All weathered, grassed and then coated in a matt varnish.

That is certainly something different. Really well done and great imagination to used all the odd parts you did.

That looks very interesting. It would be great to see it 'installed'.
