    BROKEN CRATE.

This ended up a three day build, mainly due to my joint and muscle pain.

I decided to use up some of the coffee stirrers, lollipop sticks etc and decided to make a crate.

The intention, was to make a good, nice, looking crate to house some equipment-it went wrong due to my hands  Sooooooooooo, what to do, after cursing and nearly chucking it in the bin, I went back to what I am used to...making stuff look battered and worn.

Lots of paint effects and weathering on this, that was a day worths right there. Came out okay though.

Another set piece for our 1/16 village, will probably sit next to one of the barns.

The figure is 1/16 and I repainted it, it may sit on the crate in the future...not sure yet.

Ta Tim. I had this simple idea to make a box...just a box...but, nah. Still, as you point out, will go with flagpole. Glad you like it mate.

Great work Si Really liking the moss and vegetation around the well constructed and weathered broken crate.

                        Hi Si
That is great. Just shows that with skill a very simple scene can be effective.

Thanks Jim, it turned out better than I thought, to be honest. I was so angry with myself for making the crate cuts slightly wrong...it was sooooooo close to been binned. I had a cuppa and then calmed down and thought stuff it, make knackered LOL.
