    1950s Hampton Lovett

As part of a National Heritage something or other, my Dad was 'commissioned' to build a scale replica of the local church. He managed to find the exact plans of the building and with a small amount of input from myself, build himself a very passable model.

Now he and one of his friends from the village are model railway enthusiasts, and there just so happens to be a railway running just behind the church grounds. So six months later...

The church forms a very minor part of the display, which on completion was about 20 feet long. A rather special part is the Series 2 Landrover parked outside the gate which belong to my Gran.

Great stuff. Looks right at home there Jack, and the personal touch brings it to life.

            Jack,
Only just spotted this. That little scene looks fantastic. Something to treasure.
