One day you will have to treat us to a couple of photos of all the Rail diorama's that you have done! Must be an impressive collection

I think you press the Edit button on the screen at the bottom of the post. Then try selecting the photo and pressing the Delete key (on the keyboard). I think that might work.

Very very VERY good. The huge amount of detail makes it, also the sheer modelling quality. I have copied three for my "Superb Modelling Examples file.

Faultless... er, I actually found one! The man attending the lowering of the heavy load: the nearest chain to the viewer is not tight. There, I found one!

EPIC ! especially for 1/72! while I would NEVER criticize such a STUNNING piece aside from the chain {should be scaled down a bit} now that it's all done maybe you should think about "grubbing" things up a bit. Every thing looks so

'clean" and in it's "proper place" nothing wrong with that mind you, but the real world is seldom so. I'm not suggesting you start a new technique on your "deservedly so new pride and joy" just grab an older project laying around and start slapping it about, you'll find your own way. start with a dark dirty wash then start dry brushing lighter tones, scatter some debris of sorts about "a little chaos can be a good thing" try studying some wartime pics and you'll get plenty of ideas. Ian when i get a bit fedup with building my paris rail gun i will send a few pics of my rail dio s.

Steve I will try that delete option, it was a pain in the .... trying to get that chain right ....note i said trying!!!.

Jim thanks for ideas of grubingthings up I think i got it o/k on loco that i did first , but did not follow it through on other models.

As for "chain" in spring and summer I go with the Mrs. to our local little "flea mkts" don't know what you call them "over there" bazars perhaps, there is always someone selling CHEAP costume jewelry, chains and such . Just poke about a bit and you will find something suitable or you can always find suitable scaled down chain at the local hobby store though these tend to be a bit pricey for my tastes.

If you go the cheap costume jewelry rout just soak them overnight in some product that you would use to remove hard water stains that will knock the finish right off of them and blacken them nicely.

Once when she was under the weather I had to go on my own to the local pharmacy "26 miles away" to purchase eye shadow brushes for dry brushing! ops:
