Iraq ! It's a tough job but someone's got to do it !

Nice little project this was , all wrong of course but to do it in scale on this base would of ment one figure and a lot of empty space

The hut is polystyrene with a coffee stirrer framed roof with corrugated card roof panels just slapped on and bent in places to show an unskilled job , the base is made out of fine and course ballast then cited in baking powder to soften the edges

The figures , bomb disposal are meng and the troop is tamiya but I think they are a rebox of Master Box as that's on the box they came in

Thanks go to ron ( spanner570) and Simon ( eddisolo) for their help

Scale wise, it has to be or you end up with a dio that's three foot square lol. Like it, the soldier in the building has that worried uncertain look and pose. Good work, if it goes up fried chicken for dinner.

Came out rather nice actually, doing camo on clothing can be difficult, too heavy handed or too big but it looks like you have nailed it.

                      Great job Alan,

Love the story, it's telling, something new and those eod guy's are looking great. The house came out great as well good job on the roof.

If I may make a careful suggestion to your eod guy's, i would put some dust on the boots because Irak is very dusty and they look so clean.

                      Really like it.

                      Cheers Rihi

                        Cammo looks fine Alan.

No visors? No problem....The lads have de-fused the bomb, and are that hacked off working in the intense heat, they have decided it's safe to remove them....sorted!
