'An Unfortunate Incident' April/ June G.B. Completed

    This is the B.B.C. 1 o'clock News.....

There was an embarrasing occurance yesterday at an undisclosed I.S.A.F. base in Southern Afghanistan when a truck was stolen from the M.T.U. section.

Luckily it was spotted speeding away and a squad was sent out to retrieve it.

It was found shortly after, abandoned in a small hamlet not far from the base.

Nothing was stolen, but the thieves tried to smash the laminate windscreen. The owner of the property where the vehicle was abandoned, saw nothing and refused to come out of his house.

    A Forces spokesman said...

"Probably just a couple of lads wanting to get home after going to the cinema!"

Bit far fetched, I know but.......

    The players:-

One scratch built house made from Polystyrene.

One Revell 1/35 Unimog + one scratch made laminate windscreen!

One set of modern infantry from I.C.M.

    One black cat.

    One obligatory bucket!

I hope you like this offering and thanks for looking in during the building of the three elements to this diorama.

Here are some pictures of the finished model.

    Cheers all,

    Ron

Thanks so much for the big 5 fellas, and the very kind complements.

Dave, the bloke on picket duty in the animal enclosure has bumped the sheep off and shoved them in the Unimog and the two soldiers at the front door are enquiring as to the availability of some mint sauce!!!

Yes John, one new bucket. Couldn't find the old one!

        Cheers boys,

        Ron

            Great stuff Ron.

Loads for the eye to find as it is lead around the scene.

Excellent work on this one Ron (as always, of course ). Well detailed, and just the right amount of items for the space used. The weathering is top notch as well. It's amazing what you can do with the materials you use.

What figures have you used, by the way? Do I see a retro M-60 and some M-16s in there?

Great Dio with a lot going on ,but not so much that its cluttered. Nicely done Ron,the story is great too.

You have a way of making your scenes look real. I'm always impressed with your work! Here in SA we have a 6 star classification so you take it!

                            Cheers
