A road somewhere in Crimea 20th March 2014

Well I'm calling this finished........ Apart from a frame around the base, and that's being made for me by the cabinet makers next door at work.


Two days after Russia Annexed Ukraine, and in turns out, to everyone's surprise, the "Little Green Men" are Russian after all. Road blocks and check points are all over the border area. This one on a back-road somewhere .......... This lady is on her way to see her sister who lives just the other side of this new border and the little green man has told her "No one is allowed through!"...... But this guy has no idea who he's dealing with...... and she is having none of it. She doesn't care about him, President Putin or this "nonsense" border........ and he is about to find out what a formidable adversary an "Old Woman with an Umbrella is"........ His mates are watching and trying their best no to laugh at their boss, who is losing ground by the minute.............

Excellent job peter , like all great dioramas its telling a story ,with the viewers imagination bringing it to life. I certainly wouldnt want to mess with the old lady , whether I was toting a Kalashnikov or not!!! great build , cheers tony

i like this one Peter great job the fence looks great and so dose the road,nice work on the


figures,and the truck is real nice do like the camo and good thinking to add in the track makes as well,
