VALENTINE MKV CS. NEW ZEALAND ARMY . NISSAN ISLAND PTO.

This was made using the hull from the AFV Club Valentine Mk1 kit, modified to represent a later hull, and the turret is an Accurate Armour conversion that had been lying around for years.

The standing figure is an SKP all resin kit of two parts (the figure and the Besa mg) the figure in the turret is a white metal 2/3rd figure of un-known origin.

Various items of stowage were added to the tank and all fixed to a home-made base which started life as a picture frame.

    Thanks for looking

Great stuff Malcolm, beautifully done. There is a surviving Valentine in the NZ Army Museum with similar markings to this.

Of all the things I took photos of the Valentine wasn't one of them unfortunately, but there are a few websites with photos.

I hope you don`t mind, but I have shared one of the links to a facebook group I am in that covers the war in the Pacific.
