    Drive In The Country

Didn't know if this is the right forum for this but makes the most sense to me. A 'generic' board so to speak, something to display finished vehicles on, kept dirt road "un-glued" just moistened a bit with a sprayer also constructing a cobble stone street base with a sidewalk or something for that 'urban' look ..............Jim

Very nice indeed Jim! Love the universal board, just works so well with all sorts of vehicles. The models themselves look terrific too, nice work all round mate.

Thanks Si, just figured it would class things up a bit when displaying finished models, am thinking about making a few of them in different genre, don't quite know exactly what they will be but things will come to me in time. Glad you like the idea..................Jim

Thanks Ian, hope it catches on a bit, makes things much simpler when one only wants to build a kit but hates to display it on the kitchen table, will be making a few more in future...........Jim

Great job Jim, works well with all of those vehicles. A desert one and a snow based one would cover most scenes

Great work Jim. I'm going to have to try this armour stuff properly one day.

Loving the base Jim , the mud is fantastic! I love the idea of not setting it too so you can play around with it , making tracks and ruts etc , and then start over for the next model - genius! Great builds too , the Wespe (i think thats what it is ?!) is lovely , cheers tony
