    21st Panzer Division , The road to Tobruk , June 1942

    here is the completed Sd.Kfz.251/10 of the 21st Panzer Division , the British were pushed all the way back to El Alamein but on the 3rd July the British held the DAK [ATTACH]115990.IPB[/ATTACH]

    That's a great build, love the finish on this. The figures and base are excellent too

          There was one thing I noticed when I looked at this again , there was something missing , it was dust on the wheels


          Good job I hadn't fixed to the base , job done now and it can go up to the room while I star my next project

                no mate it's not , there was no designated colour for the afrika korps they were sent any light coloured brown or scrounged any light colour, all there vehicles were delivered in the standard tank grey and they were painted in the field with no undercoat so the paint wore off very easily or bled through from underneath


                This one I've built could represent a vehicle that had been in the country from 6/12 months

                    Nice paintwork Alan!


                    The vehicle looks very good (as you said, need some dust on the wheels) and well weathered.


                    The figures are the perfect final touch to this great vignette.
