1/32 tropical BF109f-4 My first attempt at a dio!

Hey folks, My first post here, or on any model forum for that matter! Thought i'd have a go at a home made dio. It's trumpeters 1/32 scale bf109f-4 and it was also my first trumpeter kit. Put together fairly quickly and tried my hand at weathering and i'm fairly happy with the results. I still need to black out the bare foam edges but im calling it pretty much done. Any feedback good or bad welcome! Plenty of mistake, mostly not continuing the yellow onto the nose but here it is! It may just be camera flash, but the clothing on the figures looks too shiny - otherwise I can't see anything wrong. I'd be well pleased with something that good!

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate it, and you're right Gern the figures are too shiny, painted them with a gloss blue first in error then recovered in a Tamiya matt but they still appear shiny! May have another go at them. Thanks for all the kind words. Enjoying looking at everyone's work on here, plenty idea's and motivation for me to improve!

Welcome aboard. Nice first attempt Adam. I particularly like the buried oil drums. Taking the shine off clothing is always difficult...best done when mounted with minimum handling.

                  Cheers,
                  Richard

                    Hi Adam
Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will enjoy your time here. An excellent dio which you should be proud of. My only suggestion for future work is have some wheel marks where the plane has moved forward.
                    Jim
