    Does in deed look real and could be found in any garage scrap heap.

      Sorry for the late reply Charles. Thanks for the link and I would have to say this is a fantastic way to create plates that look real. I'm still picking my jaw up off the floor!!!

                As said above, very realistic and convincing. I have saved the rust tutorial.

                How did you do the flaking etc. in the coupling for joining the trailer to the road hauling vehicle?

                  Great to hear it. The flaking, could be done with the salt technique or liquid mask(you can get this artist product at art/stationary stores. It is a rebbery substance that acts like a protective barrier between the area, you want to protect, froma second coat.
