Thanks for the great comments everyone.

Re- cycling, as I prefer to call the destruction of this model, was not something I did lightly. In fact it bl***y annoyed me, I just couldn't see an alternative.

.......but reading your positive comments has put a smile back on my face. So good people, I thank you.

    Ron

Good observation Chris, but there is a slight dusting of snow and ice on the bridge and the iron railway lines are iced over right along the whole length.
Also keep in mind I've tried to model it in late winter/early spring. The sun is starting to gain a bit of strength and the river ice is breaking up. The wooden bridge will warm slightly in the weak sunshine melting a fair bit of snow, whereas the ground either side is still rock hard and is resisting any real thawing - For now.

          Thanks for the question... :thumb2:

570 congratulations on a stunning build.
The way you photograph is commendable.

One of your best( well I would say that with there being some Russian Armour in and a smashed up Tiger :upside: )

Well ive got to say this Ron an I understand about your reason for makein off with this dio but to me it was a work of art an it makes me sad :sad-face:to see what happened to it. More like destroyin the mona lisea that's my take on it but just got to hope you will come up with summit better but it will be hard to beat as I may not build these dio 's as my intrest is elsewhere but I still like to sit an gaze at the dio's you guys produce an that's real works of art
