Modelled from an 'Attic Resident', I ripped apart the original tank and tried to re-build it having receiving a penetrating hit from an A.P. shell.
The hit to the lower hull resulted in a fierce internal fire. I haven't attempted to copy anything, I just tried to imagine the damage from the impact.
The damage was done with pliers and cutters. The shell penetration was achieved with a small screwdriver. Some of the tools etc. have been scavenged by a tribe of Bed Ridden Arabs. I think that's what the wandering souls are called.....
Brush painted with Vallejo Air acrylics. I just used the same desert colour and applied the paint thinned for a lighter shade or from the bottle for a darker one, and just let them both run into each other. I also used a dk. blue/grey for fire damage.
Unashamedly, I've stolen the base from a dust encrusted and forgotten diorama involving an abandoned Syrian SU-80 and an Israeli Sherman.
Here's the result and I hope you approve of Part 1 of the trilogy.

Cheers and thanks for looking.
Next stop - Western Europe.
