      Ron

      Yet again, another top diorama.

Great idea, great composition, lots going on and a fantastic Italian village.

      Very well done indeed.

Completely agree - a little bit of 'depth' by shadows would've worked wonders!

Just arrived back home from a few days camping, so sorry for the late response, boys.

Thanks for all the positive posts. Much appreciated.

Paul and Gerry. When you did your watercolour paintings, I'm sure you will have come across the same problem I had with this effort of mine.- Depth.

I tried to get a balance between the model buildings in the foreground and the painted background. As I wanted them quite a bit back, I reasoned that too much detail to the painted buildings would bring them too close. I might have a second bash. I'll see......

Thanks again to all those who posted.

            Cheers,
            Ron

Thanks Andy. Chuffed you approve of the build. :thumb2:

                  Sorry 453, quite right.

By the way, I used to love watching Ilie na Stasi playing tennis.........

Ron, just thin darker lines on the 'shady' sides of the windows and doors would probably work, but would need to have the photos done with the light coming from the 'right' direction :thumb2:

Cracking diorama Ron, definately deserving of the 'dogs' award.
