Thanks boys for the very complimentary and humourous posts. I always enjoy getting them, whatever the content. They made great reading......
Patrick, great memory, spot on. They were last seen with a few others on the back of a Tiger tank. It made me have a look at the pictures and I realised what a bloody awful cammo I did on it (in the days when I knew no better! lol)
Steve. That's the trouble with digital cameras and me...Snap happy!
Dave. Two Eccles cakes it is!
Andrew. I will try and sort out a 'Walk through' soon. I'm going to have a bash at 1/72 1944 French village street, so I could combine the two then.
Mobear. Spare time? I haven't any....I'm 90% retired, so I'm far too busy!
Because money and space are always at a premium, I have to recycle most of my stuff, so once made, I take some pictures and then they are history. However, because they are both small, I will keep this and my derelict farm dioramas, and as my family and friends think my hobby a bit strange, the models will end up in a box in the loft, where the mice will probably make a nest......
Thanks again to you all for your input.
Cheers,
RonComment

Thanks Colin, Chris and Derek for your very complimentary posts and the 5*..... I'm glad you like the dio.
Colin, you are right, it does seem a shame to condemn them to a life in pitch darkness, getting 'et! So I will put out a few feelers and see if I can find a good home for them. Thanks for the suggestions.
Cheers,

Thank you Charles.
When I see your own truly wonderful models that you show us on here, I am honoured you think my model worthy of such praise.

Wow. Truly outstanding..
Only one discrepancy I could find...
The soldiers' breadbags (the bags on their hips) are on upside-down.
That's the only thing I could possibly find wrong with this.Comment

Thanks for the great comments, I appreciate it.
Now that's what I call diligent fault spotting. Well done and thanks for pointing out the mistake.
In defence, on looking at the figures, I did get one on the right way round.lol........ So one out of four isn't so bad for someone who can't see properly!
Fault rectified whilst enjoying a bacon butty......
Thanks again,

Just picked me head up from the bench mate, having a good look at this and i'm lost for words. It's true, "a picture is worth a thousand words".
Big stars. Have fun, JohnComment

Thanks Tony and John for the compliments, good stuff...
John, I hope resting your head on the bench has now't to do with cans of 'Boddies'!
