                FANTASTIC scences there PaulE they look very realistic an ive enjoyed lookin through them as i love the ole tiger as one of my fav tanks pity we dint have it durein W/W2 as im sure the alies would have made it into a super tank as it nr was but ive heard that it had probs when in action but the 88 mm gun was a world beater

                  Chris, all the Tigers seem to have had a lot of final drive problems. A slow turret traverse was also a drawback.

                    I believe the original concept was designed around a forty to forty-five ton vehicle.....I can't understand why Hitler insisted on a behemoth that couldn't even get out of it's own way!:smiling5: After all, bigger is better........right?:thinking:

                            Well, with a high muzzle velocity 88mm cannon and 80 to 90 rounds to stow, you'll need something of a size and w/enough armor to have decent defense, so those requirements pretty much drive 40+ tons.
