Good work. I'm guessing the bricks were individual pieces ?

Very nice Stephan. The bricks look very realistic and the ivy (?) looks great.

Hi folks, thank you so much for all the wonderful replies and encouragement. In reply to some of the questions, no, they're not individual bricks......
Firstly, I cut some compacted polystyrene down to shape with my Proxxon hotwire machine.
I then measured out and cut the width of the brickwork virtically.
I then did the same horizontally.

I prised apart the horizontal cuts with a knife and the virtical cuts with some kind of needle. I then weathered them by putting dents in the brickwork and pulled some bricks out, then I put down a base layer of mahogany brown on it. AfterClick image for larger version

painting the individual bricks different colours, I then added a mixture of plaster of paris and sand for weathering effect. I added a mixture of water and glue to add to the weather effect and tone the colours down, then added white streaks and finally olive drab for green algea.
