'Elderly Statesmen' on here might just remember my diorama of the 1/48 Revell Swift Boat (PCF) and the fact that I couldn't get any 1/48 Vietnam era U.S soldiers to go with it.
Well I never did, but moons ago I found some 1/48 WW2 figures that I decided to use in order that I could finally draw a line on the build and confine it for good in the loft.
I've been working on and off with the figures for ages and now I've finished and added them to the already completed scene from way back.....
Before I get jumped on, I know the uniforms, helmets and weaponry are wrong and yes, the chaps ears have not got much detail. (I really should have gone for some aftermarket ones)
I cut some of the figures up and re- glued them in better poses to suit the deck layout a bit better. I also filed off the chaps spats and tucked in trousers.
I've also added the watercolour background from that Spitfire under a bridge model I made.
Anyway, here is the most final completed diorama.

There you go. It's been a long time, but it's finally done.
Cheers.
Ron
